The ABJAD certification provided by the Abjadiyya Institute for Arabic Studies in Fes in collaboration with the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah of Fes (Morocco). This certification is a formal assessment for Arabic language skills.

How to register for your exam
The ABJAD certification follows the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) adaptated to the specificities of the Arabic Language. The ABJAD qualification is organised in six levels which require an advance knowledge of the Arabic language.
Each level of the ABJAD qualification falls into 4 parts including:
1. writing
2. listening
3. reading
4. speaking
Success in a Abjad Qualifications provides you with an internationally recognised certificate showing the level you have attained in Arabic.
There are two steps to register for your Abjad exam:
1. Choose your exam. If you’re not sure which exam is right for you, take our free multiple-choice test to help you decide.
2. Book your exam. Exam dates are available throughout the year.
ABJADCERT ARABIC EXAMS and CERTIFICATES
Frequent use of Arabic is great, but having an official certificate to prove your proficiency is even better. The Abjad certificates are internationally recognised as proof of qualification. Simply confirming participation in an Arabic language course is often insufficient, so apply for the AbjadCert exam.
Abjad exams are offered on several dates throughout the year. You can take exams for language levels A1-C2. Find out more about where and when you can take an exam.

ABJADCERT PREPARATION COURSES
Let our partner institution, the Abjadiyya Institute (Fes), prepare you for your next Arabic exam. Every person learns differently, and different preparation formats are offered. Depending on whether you prefer to prepare in a group with other examinees or individually, in presence or online, you can choose between three preparation courses:

The Abjad partner Institution offers individual courses giving you targeted and effective help to prepare for the AbjadCert examination. You will take a placement test before the start of the course. We will be happy to give you advice about your results.
Summer Schools
Presence or online
The Abjad partner Institution offers yearly elementary and advanced learners with intensive courses at different levels (classroom courses, and tailor made tuition for individuals, small groups). Courses are organised in presence or online. Special discount are optionally offered for online courses organised by our test centres.
